Spousal Career Services

Increasing numbers of families depend on two incomes and the thought of losing one income can be worrisome. In fact, one of the main reasons employees decline relocation offers is anxiety over whether their spouse or partner will be able to find employment. Our Spousal Career Services program helps to overcome relocation reluctance by preparing an employee's spouse or partner to find a rewarding job in the new destination.

How it Works

  1. Based on the spouse/partner's work experience and career goals, RLRS assigns a dedicated career coach. Program can taken in person or via distance learning.
  2. Next, the coach gives the spouse/partner individual career counseling, along with access to workshops, job search tools and networking opportunities.
  3. The spouse/partner also receives assistance with resumé preparation, cover letter writing, and interviewing skills as well as career management support after they land a new opportunity.
